What ethics are in gaming?

Many have come to ask this question, assuming that gaming is something that only teaches violence, due to the views the culture has gotten from society and the media.

In all actuality, many games, including Single player, and multiplayer games have core ethics engrained into them, almost every game will also instill the ethics that help people learn to be good, comparable with Aristotle's twelve virtues!

Many people in todays will openly attest that while they learned most ethics through family, or work, quite a large handful comes from playing games, and idolizing or feeling a connection to the main character, helping people build up some core values such as friendship, teamwork and competitive spirit.

Role Playing Games

Usually single player games, RPG's hold many Ethical lessons, teaching their players about core ethics such as Bravery, Wisdom, Courage, and Friendship.

Multiplayer Games

Most time spent with other players, Multiplayer games focus on ethics in the story, and allow the players to expand and use those ethics to create groups, harness friendships and over all have fun in a safe enviornment!
